Paralegal
This role will support a group of employment law attorneys in managing a wide range of labor and employment law matters, with an emphasis on California-specific employment issues and employee benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in the review and drafting of employment policies, handbooks, and other employment-related documents. Conduct legal and factual research on employment law topics. Provide support for employee benefits matters, including ERISA-related research and compliance documentation. Support internal investigations, gathering and organizing evidence, preparing chronologies, and summarizing findings. Support employment compliance team, monitoring legal and regulatory developments at the federal and state level. Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Benefits, and other internal stakeholders to support compliance initiatives and business needs. Qualifications
Bachelors' Equivalent combination of education and experience 1-3 years Paralegal Preferred Proven legal research skills required Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing routine contracts and other common corporate documents required Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills required Familiarity with employee benefits laws (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA) a plus. Strong attention to detail required Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously required Ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion required Excellent interpersonal skills required Advanced knowledge of standard IBM PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook required Proven ability to achieve high service quality results as well as meet productivity levels required The starting pay range for this position is $28.19 - $37.55. Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance. Remarkable benefits:
