Registered Nurse
Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Registered Nurse administers individualized age-appropriate patient care to the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patient according to the established nursing standards and Nurse Practice Act of Missouri. Education:- Graduate of an approved professional nursing program- required- BSN- preferred Certification & Licensures:- BLS Certification- required- ACLS Certification- required (Tier 2, 3, and 4 only)- Licensed to practice in the State of Missouri as a RN- required- PALS Certification within 1 year of hire (Tier 4 only)- TNCC Certification within 1 year of hire (Tier 4 only) Experience:- Two (2) years of critical care RN experience (Tier 4 only)- required In 1875, Father Joseph Schmidt, pastor of St. Mary's Parish in Cape Girardeau, invited three Franciscan Sisters to follow the call to serve those in need and start a hospital in Cape Girardeau.
