Cox Manufacturing

has openings for experienced CNC Swiss Machinists. We are seeking individuals that pursue results, independent-driven, and prepared to work in a world-class, team environment. We have immediate openings for the right candidates.

Responsibilities: Develop and optimize machining processes for Swiss CNC Lathe machines, including high-precision and complex parts. Read, interpret, and troubleshoot programs specific to Swiss CNC Lathe machines. Assist Swiss CNC Lathe operators with machine setups, adjustments, and resolving operational issues. Ensure proper tool selection, machine calibration, and tooling changes to maintain precision and performance. Collaborate with the team to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement within Swiss Lathe operations. Focus on maintaining tight tolerances and ensuring the quality of precision-machined parts.

Qualifications: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints specific to Swiss CNC Lathe machines. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) for Swiss Lathe operations. Strong knowledge of Swiss CNC Lathe machining principles, including multi-axis and rotary tool operations. Extensive experience operating Swiss CNC Lathe machines and setting up complex jobs. Proven experience with programming and fine-tuning Swiss CNC Lathe machines (e.g., Citizen, Tsugami). Familiarity with creating and interpreting job layouts for Swiss Lathe operations, with a focus on part accuracy and efficiency.

Pay Progression: Based on experience in a Swiss CNC Lathe work environment.
