About Atomic Semi Atomic Semi is building a small, fast semiconductor fab. It's already possible to build this with today's technology and a few simplifications. We'll build the tools ourselves so we can quickly iterate and improve. We're building a small team of exceptional, hands-on engineers to make this happen. Electronic Hardware Design Engineer
at Atomic Semi you will work closely with other engineers to rapidly prototype and test lithography systems, deposition tools, vacuum chambers, nanometer precision motion control, plasma etching systems, and related tools. You'll be expected to design, prototype, test, and debug new electrical systems. You will work on designing, developing, and optimizing electrical components, systems, and products across various applications. This role requires innovative thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems for our machines Collaborate cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and process teams to gather requirements End-to-end ownership of PCB design, bringup, testing, integration, and documentation Investigate optimal design approaches and perform detailed analysis/simulations to evaluate electrical designs Required Experience Bachelor's Degree or higher in electrical engineering, or equivalent skill 2-5 years of experience designing electrical hardware end-to-end in industry Experience with analog and digital circuit design and testing Experience with PCB design and simulation tools (Altium, KiCad, LTSpice) Hands-on with start-up experience Electronic hardware design end to end Nice-to-have Architect and big picture thinking High speed digital design Control theory (control loop design, stability analysis) Working at Atomic Semi We're an early-stage hardware startup with solid funding, world-class advisors, and a lab/office in San Francisco, CA. Compensation:
Atomic Semi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $120,000
$180,000. Compensation is determined based on your qualifications and experience. Our total compensation package also includes generous equity in Atomic Semi. Benefits:
