The hospitality group features catering and a world of culinary experiences with a current collection of 18 concepts plus our luxury boutique property, Hotel Swexan in the 19-city-block Harwood District, with more experiences currently in development. Summary The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting business to achieve sales goals and objectives. Liaises with all departments to ensure that events are planned and operated to Harwood Hospitality standards. Job Responsibilities: Selling and coordinating food, beverage, dcor, entertainment, etc for all groups while generating maximum revenue. Meets with the guests to discuss event details: Plan event via banquet event orders Communicate internally with venue operations all pertinent information Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture service standards Provide support to other team members of the sales team as well as other departments as assigned Monitors contracts and profitability. Provide assistance and represents Harwood Hospitality as appropriate in communicating with internal and external constituents Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: At least five years food and beverage experience At least three years of venue sales experience Strong communication skills Critical thinking, solution oriented Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays Excellent customer service skills Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
