The Cleaning And Passivation Technician III will be responsible for preparing parts used in medical devices through cleaning, passivation and inspection processes. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, technical ability, adherence to following quality and safety procedures, and the completion of forms and records. Train for and perform C/P Lead duties as needed. This position will be based out of our facility located in west Bloomington, Minnesota (55438). Cleaning And Passivation Tech III Duties and Responsibilities Count, inspect, and process medical device components through the cleaning and passivation processes. Responsible for proper documentation necessary to complete job. Use automated and manual cleaning equipment, including ultrasonics. Work with chemicals (Isopropyl Alcohol, solvents, detergents, etc.) as needed to clean work area and components. Support Label Generation and Cleaning & Passivation area(s) as needed Back up C/P Lead as needed. Train and perform duties required of the position of C/P Lead as needed Assist with weekly cleaning of production areas and common spaces Work leadership of at least 2-3 employees Ensure products are handled and assembled per QTS Quality Systems Procedures Adhere to cGMP and ISO regulations Maintain awareness of workplace safety and relevant training Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work Participate in required company meetings. Maintain an organized work area (5S) Participate in the Operational Excellence Program Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications
Cleaning And Passivation Tech III Requirements/Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Willing to work Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm Proficient in math skills required to complete all manufacturing procedures English language (reading comprehension, listening, and writing) Basic computer skills and understanding of computer operation Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Good hand-eye coordination Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Methodologies Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Able to sit and stand for long periods of time At least 1-3 years of the following experience: Knowledge in assembly of all product families in the business unit Assembly, manufacturing and cleanroom experience Operation of all tray, band and impulse sealers Knowledge or training pertaining to FDA, cGMP and ISO regulations Knowledge or training pertaining to workplace safety and OSHA regulations Cleaning And Passivation Tech III Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Able to work overtime as needed (staying later during the week days or at least one weekend day) Certificates Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations What Is It Like to Work for QTS?
