Private Equity Analyst
Primary Functions of the Private Equity Analyst role include: Support deal teams in sourcing, screening, and evaluating private equity investments across primary fund commitments and secondary opportunities Strong quantitative skills required to perform track record analysis, detailed business valuation, and modelling, as well as more qualitative assessments Support deal teams in the preparation of internal investment committee memos as well as the subsequent closing processes Actively engage with advisors and other market participants to source and manage inbound deal flow Active contribution to recurring market-related projects Present and discuss new opportunities to both local and global team Requirements University degree (bachelor's degree or higher) Relevant prior internship experience including: investment banking, secondary and/or direct investing, business consulting / advisory Essential technical skills include solid background in finance, detail-orientation, and strong analytical, modeling, and quantitative skills Strong written and oral communication skills High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Experience working in a similar team environment a plus Good team player who can also function independently Energetic, flexible, and capable of working under time constraints Sharp analytical mind with the ability to communicate and present findings clearly and concisely Ability to work with colleagues at other global offices of the firm, and to manage communications and schedules accordingly Legally authorized to work in the United States If you are interested in becoming an integral part of a successful alternative investment management team in an international, multicultural working environment we will be pleased to get to know you soon.
