Location/Division Specific Information: Millersburg, PA Single-Use manufacturing locations How Will You Make an Impact? Support Millersburg manufacturing by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and setup of equipment. A Day in the Life: Follow all safety and cGMP requirements. Perform on-call and after-hours maintenance activities as the need arises. Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM) on machines, facility equipment. Detect faulty operations, defective material and risk to final product and report those, and any other unusual situations, to accurate supervision. Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvement), Lean and Continuous Improvement, and 5S activities Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Education: Associates degree in related field. Experience: Required: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field Preferred: Calibrating and Configurations of Toss Controllers and components Use CMMS for record keeping of PM's, Repairs and Installations. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment based on industrial process controls and pneumatics, including PLC Programmable Logic Controllers, reed switches, valves, relays, temperature controllers, and solenoids Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted Physical Requirements / Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 to 12 hours a day, depending on shift, with additional overtime as the need arises for production schedule consistency The Clean room is controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise. Specific gowning is required including gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like.
