Responsibilities
•Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct •Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready •Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information •Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests' needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs •Handle customer complaints as necessary
Qualifications
•Must have open availability. The job requires working weekends and holidays •Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems •Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent •Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations •1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred
