Objective Within our Silvercote business, a Warehouse Worker/Materials Handler is responsible for the movement of production materials and finished insulation products. This position assists the insulation lamination machine operator with lamination production, quality control, and safety to ensure products produced meet and/or exceed the standards of the customer's order. This role is vital to the success of our business, as they are ensuring that our customers' orders are correct and undamaged. Essential Job Functions Properly unwrap rolls of insulation and load them on the lamination machine Perform quality inspections by examining all products to verify conformance to company standards Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles, using hand trucks, forklifts, or clamps Properly unload and bag finished product rolls off the lamination machine Accurately count finished product to determine completion of production order Perform general housekeeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe work environment Requirements High school diploma or GED is required Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing work environment Prior forklift experience is preferred Proven track record of good attendance and being on time according to work schedule Physical Requirements The work is performed in a non-climate controlled environment with a moderate noise level. This job frequently requires the employee to stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; climb portable ladders to heights of up to 15 ft.; balance; stoop; kneel; push; pull; reach overhead; read; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. TopBuild Corp.
