Sr. Manager, People Business Partner

Role Summary: As the Sr. Manager, People Business Partner, you'll provide human resources leadership and strategic partnership to associates and leaders across diverse departments of Saks Global across corporate operations. Role Description: Inspire and developing high-performing PBP team by setting vision, aligning priorities and fostering collaboration, inclusivity and accountability. Build relationships with the business leaders you support acting as a strategic advisor Guide PBP initiatives from delivery to adoption, join and lead projects and workstreams that continue to help the PBP function elevate both business outcomes and HR impactLeverage people insights, organization pulse diagnostic and strategic planning to drive continuous improvement Oversee complex internal investigations when needed, coach business leaders with coaching and counseling, participate/execute employment actions Partner with Talent Acquisition to shape strategic hiring plan, define searches, and achieve recruitment goals (both quantitative and qualitative) Drive org effectiveness by aligning talent, structure and culture to evolving business needs Ensure completion of compliance trainings, proactively identify other training opportunities and gather partners and resources to deliver targeted learning and development solutions Orchestrate onboarding and offboarding experiences that reinforce culture, minimize risk, and preserve organizational continuity, while ensuring smooth handling of compliance-related transitions. Oversee leave of absence and accommodations programs, and partner with risk management and loss prevention partners to action incidents and any related worker's compensation cases Upkeep associate records, and maintain compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations Key Qualifications: 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience 5+ years of supervisory experience HR Business Partner experience in fulfillment/distribution and/or luxury retail environments preferred Demonstrated knowledge and application of employment law Passionate about people, demonstrating a collaborative and empathetic approach Analytical and creative skills to identify areas of opportunity, and find new solutions to challenges Skills to lead difficult conversations, and recommend/implement potential employment actions Commitment to trust and confidentiality, confidence to challenge others, and uphold high moral and ethical standards Adapt to unexpected situations with organizational and prioritization abilities to manage all priorities Intermediate Excel preferred, HRIS and ATS software experience Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
