Warehouser (Day Shift) - Houston, TX
Job Description ATTENTION MILITARY AFFILIATED JOB SEEKERS - Our organization works with partner companies to source qualified talent for their open roles. The following position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. If you have the required skill set, education requirements, and experience, please follow the next steps. This position is responsible for but not limited to tasks such as pulling inventory, issuing parts to work orders, assisting with cycle counting, receiving, and shipping materials. This position requires the ability to identify, store, distribute equipment, components, and supplies in an efficient manner. This position will be expected to work with minimum assistance and supervision. Individuals are expected to learn the general workflow of the department. Primary Responsibilities: Handle and move materials to appropriate areas. Process documentation and utilize EBS for receiving tasks. Operate and maintain familiarity with the Kardex System. Serve as backup for warehouse roles including Painter, Material Handler, and Shipping/Receiving. Maintain strong knowledge of equipment locations and departmental workflows. Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts. Support junior employees in completing tasks and meeting departmental goals. Promote and maintain a safe work environment; report hazards to HSE. Participate in safety and quality culture initiatives. Ensure compliance with NOVs Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
