Material Handler
Forklift Operator
ETC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler
Forklift Operator to join our Austin team in a fast-paced, warehouse environment. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings, strong organizational skills. Forklift experience and understanding of ERP system preferred. Representative Responsibilities: Operates Forklift Moves parts from receiving area and delivers to appropriate area in the warehouse Consolidation of multiple pallet parts and restocks main locations (in pallet racking and in department stock shelves) Label, sort, and wrap product Receipts and puts away finished goods/raw material with the use of a bar code scanner Removes and adds skids into the pallet racking Reports faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to manager Ensures safe operation of a forklift Unload trucks Ensures parts are not damaged Drives forklift into semis or other trucks Inventory accuracy Participates in the cycle counting procedure Participates in physical inventory created by area Fills in when needed in the stockrooms Adheres to safety standards at all times Ensures that safe methods and practices are used Abides by safety procedures, work practices controls, and OSHA guidelines Wears personal protective equipment when required Other duties as assigned Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 1 year working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Forklift experience preferred Computer skills Must be able to read and comprehend English Strong attention to detail Demonstrated organizational skills Able to operate a pallet jack Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to work independently and as part of a team Able to use a scanner Able to drive forklift
