The Process Engineer
Textile Dyeing will be responsible for optimizing dyeing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output while adhering to environmental and safety standards. This role involves analyzing production processes, implementing improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and sustainability. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize textile dyeing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent quality. Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with R&D, quality control, and production teams to develop innovative dyeing techniques and formulations. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. Conduct trials and experiments to test new dyes, chemicals, or equipment for performance and cost-effectiveness. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dyeing processes. Troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support to production teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and sustainability practices. Train and mentor junior staff on dyeing processes and equipment operation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, textile engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in textile dyeing or a similar process engineering role. Strong knowledge of dyeing techniques, chemical processes, and textile machinery. Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable practices in textile production. Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies). Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as Minitab for process optimization and data-driven decision making. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with dyeing software or process control systems is a plus.
