Fox is seeking a Senior Payments & Fraud Analyst to lead data-driven efforts that improve payment performance, reduce fraud losses, and strengthen subscriber retention. In this highly visible role, you will analyze key touchpoints across the payment lifecycle and provide insights that shape retry logic, fraud detection, and churn mitigation strategies. You'll work cross-functionally with teams in Product, Finance, Engineering, and Customer Care to optimize how subscribers pay, renew, and stay. A Snapshot of Your Responsibilities
Payments Optimization Identify opportunities to improve authorization rates by analyzing acquirer, issuer, and payment method performance. Maintain dashboards that monitor approval trends, retry outcomes, and token lifecycle metrics. Recommend and test retry strategies and billing schedules to reduce failures and involuntary churn. Fraud Prevention Monitor fraud KPIs such as chargeback rates, false declines, and abuse trends. Help develop and refine fraud rules, balancing detection effectiveness and subscriber experience. Support dispute mitigation and representment efforts using relevant fraud and transaction data. Retention Strategy Build churn models and conduct behavioral analyses to identify at-risk segments. Evaluate the impact of dunning, pricing, and communications on customer retention. Track churn, refunds, and cancellations to improve subscriber lifetime value. Collaboration & Execution Translate business goals into actionable insights and reporting solutions. Mentor junior analysts and improve best practices across validation, documentation, and delivery. Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 35 years of analytics experience, ideally in payments, fraud prevention, or subscription retention. Proficiency in SQL and data visualization (e.g., Tableau). Advanced Excel skills for modeling and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $114,000.00-130,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
