Provides clinical office support including answering telephone calls, entering demographic and insurance/referral information, and scheduling appointments. Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Answers telephone calls and handles patient questions or routes to appropriate personnel. Schedules, reschedules, cancels and confirms patient appointments. Registers new patients in the system and obtains demographic and insurance information. Assists with obtaining referrals/pre-certifications as needed. Provides packets of information to patients associated with services which may accompany the appointment. Assists other clinical support staff during peak time, vacations/illnesses. Working Conditions: Job Location/Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Physical Effort: Typically sitting at a desk or table. Equipment: Office equipment. Required Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience. Certifications:

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, Basic Life Support - American Red Cross. Work Experience:
