Senior Procurement Planner

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Sr. Procurement Planner to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the procurement and planning of finished goods and components to support production schedules and meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing supply needs, optimizing inventory levels, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality materials. Key Responsibilities Review purchase requisitions and convert them into timely and cost-effective purchase orders Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained without excess Maintain accurate procurement records, including pricing, terms, and delivery schedules Proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve delivery issues or delays Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and vendors Evaluate and track supplier performance based on quality, cost, lead times, and reliability Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with vendors and internal teams Generate reports on procurement activities and supplier performance to support decision-making Provides expertise to one or more Supply Chain disciplines in implementations and process execution. Works with internal teams to coordinate procurement and shipment of supplies. Assists in gathering information on new vendors, sources, market, current processes and prices; provides inputs based on issues faced in day-to-day operations; executes approved initiatives under guidance of supervisor. Resolves general queries from internal and external stakeholders. Adheres to import, export, and excise regulation as per compliance. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, or planning Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Proven ability to negotiate effectively and solve problems in a fast-paced environment Solid understanding of material planning and procurement processes Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (intermediate level or higher) Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously What You Will Gain Health Coverage: Choose from three medical plans, dental, and vision options Financial Protection: Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off: Vacation, sick days, company holidays, and various leave options (parental, FMLA, etc) Employee Support: EAP, adoption/surrogacy assistance, additional voluntary health benefits Retirement: 401(k) plan with employer match Compensation and Benefits: The base salary range for this role is $67,150.00
$79,000.00. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company's performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
