Technical Trainer

to join our team. In this key role, you will deliver hands-on training and learning experiences for new and existing team members across our manufacturing operations. You'll play a vital role in developing skills, driving safety, and ensuring team readiness to meet production goals with excellence. Key responsibilities include: Training delivery: Facilitate hands-on technical training sessions in areas such as equipment operation, safety, quality, and standard work procedures. Onboarding support: Lead new hire orientation and initial skills training for manufacturing roles to ensure readiness for production. Curriculum development: Create, revise, and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures, and visual aids to support learning objectives. Competency assessment: Evaluate learner performance through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Collaboration: Partner with supervisors, team leads, and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training. Documentation & reporting: Maintain accurate training records, track progress, and support audits or compliance reviews. Continuous improvement: Gather feedback and monitor effectiveness of training programs; recommend improvements for greater impact. What you bring: Experience in delivering technical or skills-based training in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse learning styles. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and equipment operation. Ability to create clear, user-friendly training materials and instructional guides. Comfortable using technology, including learning management systems (LMS) or training tracking tools. A commitment to safety, learning, and team development. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Working conditions: This position requires time on the production floor as well as in classroom or meeting settings. Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and occasionally lift training materials or equipment up to 25 lbs.
