Field Support Manager

Fox Rent A Car is on the hunt for a Field Support Manager who's sharp, solution-focused, and ready to take command of one of the most high-impact roles in our national operations. In this role, you won't just manage processesyou'll own them. From tracking down stolen and impounded vehicles to resolving overdue rentals and supporting field teams nationwide, your work will directly influence our bottom line and brand reputation. You'll be the go-to expert, the calm in the storm, and the connector between departments that ensures nothing and no vehicle slips through the cracks. If you can read a report, see the risk, solve the issue, and train others to prevent it from happening again, we want you on our team. This is more than a support roleit's a leadership post at the heart of operational excellence. You will: Lead and improve internal processes for managing stolen and impounded vehicles Prevent re-rental of recovered vehicles before clearance Monitor and track recovered vehicles using NICB (National Insurance Crime Bureau) reports Negotiate the release of impounded vehicles and authorize updates to rental agreements. Manage vendor partnerships with impound lots and repossession agencies. Oversee overdue rental resolution across all U.S. locations Investigate fraudulent activity and assist with recovering stolen or lost vehicles. Support customer service efforts around delinquent accounts or disputes. Act as a liaison between Field Operations and departments such as Accounting, Risk Management, and Training Manage the "waiting queue" to ensure timely action on vehicles and issues. Provide support for escalations and ensure smooth communication between the team. Test and implement system updates (e.g., TSD.NET); ensure functionality meets field needs Roll out new procedures and ensure field teams understand impacts and requirements. Provide documentation and support for all system and policy updates. Ensure all field staff complete the required Fox University training. Support the adoption of new processes through coaching and hands-on training. Serve as a go-to resource for policy, system, and process clarification. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in operations, field support, or fleet management (rental car, automotive, or transportation industry strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of stolen/impounded vehicle recovery procedures Demonstrated ability to work across departments and manage vendor relationships Experience overseeing multi-location systems or process rollouts High proficiency in TSD.NET, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs Background in customer service, loss prevention, or risk management (preferred) Experience in training or mentoring field personnel Familiarity with risk mitigation or vehicle fraud investigations Previous experience: Leading recovery efforts for stolen or impounded assets Working in or alongside field operations in a multi-location company Negotiating service rates and performance standards with outside vendors Coordinating cross-functional projects and resolving escalated operational issues Supporting systems testing, documentation, and rollout Skills: Strong organizational skills; handles competing priorities effectively Excellent verbal and written communication Confident in vendor negotiations and conflict resolution Problem-solver with strong data interpretation and reporting abilities Comfortable mentoring, training, and supporting field-based teams Tech-savvy and open to learning new operational systems We Offer: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, Employee Discounts, Referral bonus Company-paid Life Insurance Company-paid AD&D Insurance Flexible spending account Parental leave Employee assistance program We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
