We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll operations in Workday for our growing global workforce, with particular focus on our large hourly employee population. Beyond payroll expertise, you'll contribute to broader people operations functions, leveraging your complementary experience in areas such as benefits administration, HR compliance, or HRIS maintenance to support our team's diverse needs. Key Responsibilities

Manage accurate and compliant payroll processing cycles in Workday across operations in multiple countries, working cross-functionally with our payroll, accounting, and tax partners in Finance Streamline payroll administration processes and systems on an ongoing basis, including relevant systems enhancements, automations, and use of artificial intelligence to enhance accuracy and create a seamless experience for employees and managers Implement comprehensive payroll audit controls and verification processes that scale with organizational growth Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and complex scenarios Serve as Workday payroll system expert, managing configurations, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows Support system testing for Workday updates, integrations, and new functionality while contributing to broader HR technology projects Required Skills & Experience

4-5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, preferably in Workday Additional people operations experience in one or more areas: benefits administration, HR compliance, HRIS maintenance, leave administration, compensation or equity administration, etc. Demonstrated experience with large hourly workforce payroll operations Strong knowledge of payroll audit processes, internal controls, and regulatory requirements across geographies Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive processes independently Advanced Workday and Excel/Google Sheets skills, data analysis capabilities, and systematic problem-solving approach Excellent communication skills with customer service orientation and ability to handle confidential information CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) not required, but a plus It is rare to have a company that both deeply impacts its customers and is able to provide its services across a massive population.
