We are seeking a dynamic, people-oriented professional to lead our employee engagement efforts and drive client acquisition. The ideal candidate thrives in social settings, enjoys building relationships, and is energized by working with teams and external partners to cultivate new opportunities and drive them to success. As a key leader, you'll bring enthusiasm and strategic thinking to every endeavor, help develop a high-performing team, and ensure product delivery that's on time, on budget, and exceeds expectations. What You'll Do
Be a connector: Actively seek out, build, and nurture lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and partners through networking, outreach, outstanding project work, and consistent communication. Lead with energy: Inspire and guide project teams, keeping momentum high and ensuring smooth executioneven when challenges arise. Drive performance: Monitor project profitability, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure excellence across the board. Be a brand ambassador: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Mentor and manage: Lead, motivate, and oversee the local team, manage team workload, provide coaching and feedback, track group performance, and support staff development while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Grow the business: Collaborate with business development and program management teams to identify and pursue new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients. Deliver technical excellence: Contribute to complex environmental projects, including: Due diligence projects including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) Designing, conducting and/or overseeing site investigations including soil, vapor, and groundwater Remedial action planning and oversight Proposal development, cost estimating, and reporting Ensure high quality service/product delivery from the team What We'd Love to See in You
BS degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field. Licensed Professional Geoscientist or Professional Engineer preferred. 10+ years of direct environmental experience commensurate with the described duties of the position. Naturally outgoing and enjoys interacting with people. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport with new contacts. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of environmental and regulatory programs and processes as they apply to industrial, energy, and commercial clients. Multiple years of experience in team management and client-facing roles is a plus. Strong desire to help build and grow a client base through supporting diverse business development initiatives. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
