We reward and recognize our employees based on our values of Aspire to Greatness, Respect All, Own It, Working Together, Persist with Passion.Who We're Looking For:As a key member of the Engineering team, the Electro-Mechanical Technician will work in a clean room environment, providing technical support, calibration, installation, repair and preventive maintenance for medical devices.This role works Mon-Thurs, 2nd Shift 3pm-1am; Overtime on alternating Fridays About the Role:Provide support for equipment such as pneumatics, laser drills, label and inkjet printers, conveyors, corona surface treaters, induction tippers, balloon formers, vacuum formers, and other manufacturing equipment.Execute procedures for calibration, document their completion, and consistently complete all calibration verifications on schedule provided.Troubleshoot and repair equipment, document their completion, and consistently complete all preventive maintenance on schedule provided.Assist Engineering in fixture qualifications for new/existing equipment as required, including collection of data, and supporting design of new equipment or equipment modifications.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED is requiredPrevious experience working with biomedical equipment preferredStrong demonstrated "hands-on" ability to diagnosis, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems and equipmentAbility to work with diverse cultures and language barriers in a minimal English speaking environmentPreferred Qualifications:Troubleshooting of complex systemsUnderstanding of manufacturing processesAssociate degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Applied Sciences, or related fieldAbility to interpret technical data like electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprintsWhy Laborie:Our Mission every day is to operate as a world-class specialist medical company making and advancing technologies that preserve and restore human dignity.
