As a Security Officer - Access Control in Russellville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies. Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and/or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required during critical situations. Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter potential risks within the location. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience or at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience, or possess a college degree. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
