Our client, a respected insurance organization known for delivering high-quality service and building long-term client relationships, is currently seeking a Premium Audit Specialist with a strong foundation in workers' compensation underwriting and audit practices to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and make a real impact on underwriting accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

Review and interpret audit results to ensure proper premium calculation on commercial policies. Partner with underwriting and audit teams to identify inconsistencies, reconcile data, and support accurate policy issuance. Analyze key financial documents including payroll summaries, general ledgers, tax filings, and P&L statements. Apply your knowledge of NCCI and independent bureau guidelines to evaluate workers' compensation classifications and exposures. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders. Assist in improving workflows and audit procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Skills & Qualifications:

2 - 5+ years of experience in insurance, premium audit, or a related business function. Solid understanding of workers' compensation rules and rating structures from NCCI and independent state bureaus. Hands-on experience working with financial records such as payroll documents, income statements, and tax reports. Professional development in insurance (such as CPCU, APA, or CIPA coursework) is a strong plus. Bachelors Degree highly preferred. Salary/Benefits:
