School Social Worker, Primary School (Early Childhood-Kindergarten)
AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Gurnee for the 2025-2026 school year. In this role, you will work with early childhood and Kindergarten students, ages 3-6, to support them in a collaborative and supportive school environment. You will have your own space and enjoy a duty-free lunch, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality therapy services. Individualized Therapy: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans (IEPs). Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one and small group therapy sessions based on individual needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions. Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals to support students' communication skills across all areas of learning. Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and offering strategies for supporting students. Embrace Platform: Utilize the Embrace platform for case management, IEP documentation, and tracking student progress. Team Support: Collaborate with fellow Social Workers to share resources, strategies, and insights to better serve students' needs. Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work Valid Illinois State Professional Educator License (PEL) Valid IDFPR License Why AnthroMed?
