Peer Support Specialists are people in a peer-designated role providing direct services with a personal experience of recovery from mental health, substance use, or trauma conditions who receive specialized training and supervision to guide and support others who are experiencing similar mental health, substance use or trauma issues toward increased wellness. A Peer Support Specialist is an individual who has made a personal commitment to his or her recovery and is willing to share what he or she has learned about recovery in an inspirational way. Full-Time: AM shift Sun-Thurs Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED. A valid California driver's license is preferred. A mental health/SUD lived experience. 80-hour Peer Support Learning or equivalent
