Job DetailsJob LocationMO, Pacific - MO Eastern Correctional Center - PACIFIC, MOPosition TypeFull-TimeEducation LevelHigh School Diploma/GEDTravel PercentageNoneJob ShiftDayJob CategoryNursing Professional & SupportDescriptionPay Ranges from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on years of experience!Plus Shift Differentials!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare servicesto theMissouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA)to join our team at Missouri Eastern Correctional Center located inPacific, Missouri.The Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA)Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).Insulin certification preferred.Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years).
