Join The Patch Boys of North Austin
The Patch Boys of North Austin is looking to add a full-time multi-skilled drywall repair technician. We are a well-established and expert Drywall Repair Company. Our business is growing, and we are seeking experienced drywall repair, patching, and finishing technicians to join our team. Pay is $225 per day and we provide materials. You can have up to 2 jobs per day ranging from Georgetown to South Austin. You will start out as a 1099 and if things go well we can go from there. I have work available daily. You must have a reliable Truck/Van that can carry up to two 4X8 panels of Sheetrock if needed. You will also need to provide proof of vehicle insurance. Responsibilities
Ability to texture and refinish plaster services Ability and willingness to work on new walls and ceilings, and repair existing walls. Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects. Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer. Fit and fasten wallboard or sheetrock into specified position Measure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim Install insulation in-between studs and attach a plastic moisture barrier over the installation Remove plaster, drywall, or paneling Must have a smartphone with GPS Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years proven experience in hanging, installing, patching, repairing, and finishing drywall including texture matching. With references. Your own hand tools, compressor, hopper, ladder, and other necessary tools to do the work. We provide materials Must own a smartphone with a data plan Reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Exceptional customer service skills Benefits/Perks
