Manages all collections activity for assigned payors. Works closely with Mission Healthcare staff in all departments to identify and correct problem areas negatively affecting reimbursement. Stays abreast to industry standard changes and regulations relevant to reimbursement for the assigned payor mix. Maintains frequent communication with Reimbursement Manager. Address and resolve patient questions and concerns. Provide respectful and considerate customer service to internal and external customers. Meet defined department goals and activity metrics. Qualifications:

Industry standard knowledge of private insurance reimbursement standards in the Healthcare sector is necessary. Experience collecting for Home Health, Hospice or Home Care agencies is heavily preferred. Experience using EMR/EHR and practice management software. Experience with Home Care Home Base highly desired! Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
