Job Title
Responsibilities: Must be able to read engineering technical drawings and use basic hand tools like digital calipers, etc. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process, including first-article, in-process, and final pre-shipment inspections Perform visual (workmanship) evaluations and functional testing as applicable (measurements, assembly, etc.) Verify packaging and labeling for accuracy and compliance Serve as an on-site third-party Quality Engineering Inspector Visually inspect and record all weld components of each product Manage and oversee additional inspectors assigned to your site Conduct technical sorts and/or rework as required by client specifications Provide timely, detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence of products, packaging, labeling, and any defects found Submit daily and weekly reports using Microsoft Word or Excel Skills & Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality-related position QC Engineer with an Electrical Inspection background is preferred Strong visual inspection skills, especially for weld components Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with and adherence to ProQC and client site safety and operational guidelines Strong communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Job Type: 1099 Contract Work Setting: On-site / In-person Shift Hours: Availability for 1st shift on designated days during regular working hours Compensation: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
