White Rock Medical Center is recruiting an exceptional Advanced Practice Provider to join our prestigious Inpatient Hospitalist Team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-acuity care in a fast-paced hospital environment while working alongside board-certified hospitalists and subspecialty physicians. You'll be integral to delivering comprehensive inpatient care and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in our state-of-the-art facility. Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)
Inpatient Hospitalist Team Location: White Rock Medical Center
Dallas, TX Schedule: Day shifts with rotating weekends (7 AM - 7 PM, flexible scheduling available) Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience Benefits: Premium benefits package including medical, dental, vision, full malpractice insurance Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive Hospital Care:
Conduct thorough patient admissions, daily rounds, and coordinate discharge planning for medical patients Complex Case Management:
Manage acute exacerbations of chronic conditions, multi-organ system diseases, and post-operative medical care Clinical Documentation:
Maintain detailed EMR documentation supporting quality care and appropriate reimbursement Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Work closely with nursing, pharmacy, case management, and specialty consultants to optimize patient outcomes Quality Improvement:
Actively participate in quality initiatives, patient safety programs, and clinical protocol development Teaching and Mentoring:
Contribute to education of medical students, residents, and other healthcare providers as appropriate Requirements: Required: Current Texas licensure and national certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ACLS and BLS certifications (current) Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills Proficiency in hospital EMR systems and clinical documentation Strongly Preferred: 2+ years of hospitalist, internal medicine, or acute care experience Experience with complex medical conditions and hospital-based procedures Familiarity with quality metrics and hospital performance indicators Additional certifications in critical care or hospital medicine Ideal Candidate Profile: Excellent clinical judgment and ability to work independently Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family communication Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
