QVC Group is searching for a Director of Digital Software Engineering who will be responsible for leading the teams, processes & technologies within Digital Value Stream Portfolio (specifically, in the areas of Cart/Checkout, Identity/Account, Marketing Tech, Video Experience, and Social Commerce) in support of QVC Group's WIN Growth Strategy, globally. This position will be located out of our QVC Group headquarters in Westchester, PA. QVC empowers shoppers with knowledge and shares insights in a lively, engaging way. Designs and sets goals and objectives for respective Digital & Social domains partnering with product and business teams, also participates in setting division and/or corporate-related goals. Partners with Value Stream/Shared Services leaders across IT and the Business to deliver prioritized capabilities within the Digital Value Stream backlog and meets performance, security and compliance objectives. Provides oversight across the Digital portfolio, from strategic direction through talent development & empowerment, on to day-to-day execution and refining operating model via continuous improvements to create high performing teams. Accountable for financial health and forecasting within organization in partnership with portfolio management team. Provides strategic leadership, management and direction to Software Engineering Teams. Develops metrics to measure delivery, quality, continuous improvement, and how the teams are becoming predicable with deliverables and be more autonomous. Has end-to-end responsibility of systems of working in partnership with other teams to ensure applications are meeting business needs and service levels. Consolidates existing technologies, optimize resources, and define a reference architecture aligned with applications needs and our Cloud strategies. Manages 3rd party vendors and service providers, actively monitors incident handling and issue/problem resolution and escalation to meet service levels. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field 12+ years of relevant experience with at least 7 years in a people leadership role Experience with digital technologies, applications and tools (i.e., websites, mobile, android, iOS, iPad, etc.) Experience with technical architecture that drives consumer behaviors Preferred experience working in an Agile environment with ability to drive speed and predictability through continuous improvements.
