Position Summary:

The LGBT Program Manager at ACR Health oversees LGBTQ+ youth services, including the Q Center’s Rainbow Connections initiative, ensuring programs foster wellness, pride, and leadership. They provide staff supervision, manage events and outreach, and maintain accurate data and reports to meet agency and funder requirements. The role also promotes LGBTQ+ cultural competence among providers and represents the agency in regional youth and LGBTQ+ initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience delivering stigma-free services in not-for-profit, healthcare, or customer service settings

OR

an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid NYS driver’s license, ability to travel across a multi-county service region, and access to a reliable, insured automobile is required.

Ability to work daytime and evening hours Monday-Friday, as well as occasional weekend hours for outreach, training, and conferences.

Sensitivity to HIV, chronic illness, substance use and LGBTQ+ issues, along with a strong commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of ACR Health is essential.

At least 2 years' experience providing staff supervision and program oversight.

Primary Responsibilities:

Incorporate best practices regarding confidentiality into all job duties and communications in accordance with Article 27-F and HIPAA, ACR Health policies and procedures and other applicable regulations. Protect agency data in accordance with confidentiality procedures and protocols. Observe and abide by the HIV Confidentiality Law and HIPAA.

Provide direct supervision and support to assigned staff.

Lead weekly coordination meetings with Q Center staff.

Conduct monthly reviews of client charts (paper and electronic) to ensure compliance with ACR Health policies and funder regulations.

Oversee implementation of the Q Center’s Rainbow Connections initiative.

Offer technical oversight and approve plans for LGBTQ+ youth programming that promote Developmental Assets, reduce social isolation, increase support systems, expand LGBTQ-affirming providers, and foster wellness, pride, and leadership.

Manage planning, coordination, and development of activities, events, and outreach in collaboration with Program Coordinators.

Compile monthly data from group summary forms, attendance logs, ride logs, sign-in sheets, and other qualitative sources.

Analyze youth assessment data across regions and submit quarterly reports per funder requirements.

Ensure timely and accurate AIRS data entry, monitor reports weekly/monthly for quality and completeness.

Maintain Q Center social media in line with agency policies and contract standards; review content for alignment prior to posting.

Promote LGBTQ+ cultural competence among providers and maintain updated LGBTQ-Affirming Provider lists for all regions.

Support recruitment and training of interns and volunteers; maintain accurate volunteer status records and hours, create monthly schedule.

Prepare monthly and programmatic reports; maintain accurate and current client records.

Complete and submit all required documentation promptly, including supervision notes, purchase orders, evaluations, and incident reports.

Administer annual Client Satisfaction Surveys across all regions and compile results for review with the Director of FE&SS.

Represent the agency at regional meetings/committees focused on youth and LGBTQ+ issues and serve as liaison when appropriate.

Participate in appropriate and applicable training/professional development opportunities for a minimum of 32 hours of curriculum-based training annually.

Participate in department and agency case conferences for relevant clients.

Participate in a professional manner while representing the agency at outreach events, as well as in contacts with external providers, stakeholders, and community partners.

Participate as a culturally competent member of ACR Health, which includes having the capacity to function effectively as an individual within the context of cultural beliefs, behaviors, and needs presented by clients and their communities.

Work in a cooperative, collegial style with all other organizational personnel. Conduct oneself in a professional manner as an agency employee and representative.

Perform other duties as assigned by Director of FE&SS, Chief Program Officer and/or Chief Executive Officer.
