Fairfield Prep is currently seeking qualified candidates who are energetic and passionate for a part time position as a Campus Operations Assistant. Position Overview As a Campus Operations Assistant at Fairfield Prep, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and positive campus environment that reflects our Jesuit values. This position involves direct interaction with students and collaboration with faculty and staff to foster a community of respect and accountability. Key Responsibilities Supervise campus grounds including buildings, parking lots, and designated areas of Fairfield University campus through regular patrols and monitoring Enforce all student conduct policies as outlined in the Student-Parent Handbook with fairness and consistency Monitor and engage with students during daily lunch periods Coordinate and supervise daily after-school JUG (detention) sessions Collaborate with Assistant Deans of Students to develop and maintain a comprehensive campus culture of safety and mutual respect Provide supervision and support at after-school events including athletic competitions, social events, concerts, and other school activities Report incidents and concerns to appropriate administrative personnel Assist with emergency procedures and crisis management as needed Schedule This is a part-time position with regular hours of 10:30 AM
3:30 PM, Monday through Friday during the academic year. Additional evening and weekend hours are required for school events. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with adolescents in educational, youth development, discipline, and/or similar settings Familiarity with Jesuit educational philosophy and values Strong interpersonal and communication skills Physical ability to patrol campus grounds and stand for extended periods Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience Category: Prep - Staff Performs such other duties, responsibilities, and activities as required by supervisor and as departmental/University needs indicate.
