Technical Project Manager
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead multiple technical projects and ensure successful delivery of high-quality custom applications. As a Technical Project Manager, you provide: technical systems integration services, contract and resource management, mission partner coordination outreach, and technical support. This role will lead the integration of COTS and custom software into a repeatable SaaS technical stack supporting multiple mission-focused systems and manage the full lifecycle of software integration projects, including development, testing, and configuration. You will provide: substantive technical support in the definition, requirement gathering, design and implementation of new software releases. This role will oversee cross-functional teams and manage project budgets to ensure alignment with business and customer objectives. This role requires: deep technical knowledge, software development/system integration experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage relationships with subcontractor partners. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for leading multiple technical projects, overseeing cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of technical projects, focusing on knowledge management, case management, workflow, and AI/ML integration. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of software integration projects and relationships with subcontractor partners across multiple integration teams, ensuring coordination among varying technical disciplines. This position will require the ability to manage project budgets, optimizing resource allocation to ensure alignment with business and customer objectives. This position will also require the ability to implement evolving programmatic, software design and quality best practices within the team, and the ability to communicate with and influence executive leadership. Many projects are expected to have follow-on work, and the position will include developing and issuing statements of work, responding to RFIs/RFPs, negotiating rates, overseeing subcontractor performance, and conducting market research to identify emerging trends that shape the program business strategy. A part of the role includes managing the O&M of several mission critical applications and user-facing mission support tools, ensuring system accreditation and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. A successful person in this role would act as the system integration liaison between engineering teams and government stakeholders, translating complex technical details into actionable business recommendations and contributing to the improvement of entire processes or systems within the programs and the organization, leveraging personal past experiences and in-depth understanding of project management best practices that improve our competitive position in the customer space. Qualifications: Required: Active TS/SCI with poly Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management or related technical field Minimum of 10 years' experience managing federal government contracts as a project or program manager. Minimum of 7 years' experience as a software engineer/system integrator Experience working with Government clients, specifically within the Intelligence Community Comprehensive knowledge of software lifecycle management, systems engineering, and integration processes. Demonstrated experience managing Cost-Plus, Firm-Fixed-Price, and Time-and-Materials contracts. Experience leading or supporting RFP responses, including proposal development, pricing, and technical writing. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage across all organizational levels, including senior leadership. Desired: Master's Degree Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional PMP Certification. Experience leading teams in a matrixed management structure Demonstrated success at managing integrated teams of complex technologies and processes Experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Agile support tools (for example, Jira) Experience with Content Management software (i.e. HighVIEW, ServiceNow) is a plus. Experience with Tableau is preferred. Experiencing leading a Scrum team or having a working knowledge of Agile principles and best practices is preferred but not required.
