Next Gen Ministry Coordinator
Lancaster Alliance Church (LAC) is seeking a Next Gen Ministry Coordinator for a full-time, salaried position with benefits in Lancaster, PA. The NXT Gen Ministry Coordinator will lead NXT Gen Ministry, teaching and facilitating ministry environments for multiple age groups with a gospel-centered approach to making disciples. This role includes events and activities within NXT Gen ministries as well as strategizing with the NXT Gen team to determine direction and primary emphasis within the NXT Gen family context. Lancaster Alliance Church (LAC) intends to have an integrated approach to ministry that does not exclusively segregate students from the intergenerational ministry of the church. Consequently, this position requires a team-oriented individual. The qualifications for this position include: alignment with the current direction of the Lancaster Alliance Church and support of the vision and direction of the current leadership; a growing walk with Christ aligned with passages such as Galatians 5:22-23; a desire to see the next generation and their families reached and transformed by the power of the Gospel; the ability to teach and lead grades K-12 in multiple ministry environments; gifted communication and care with grades K-12 and their families; a four-year degree in ministry area, related degree, or equivalent experience; and the ability to interact with online platforms such as Elexio (church database), Google, and social media. Responsibilities for this position include: partnering with the Family Engagement Team to design and implement a strategy that fulfills gospel-centered guiding principles; coordinating, leading, and managing retreats, missions, trips, and conferences for student ministry; working with volunteer teams to serve students and their families in weekly programming and special events; meeting regularly with the Family Engagement Team for prayer, planning, and evaluation; participating in pastoral staff and general staff meetings; teaching and leading in a next-gen ministry environment at least once a week; and intentionally looking for ways to engage your giftings in the job/role as time allows. The NXT Gen Coordinator reports to the Pastor of Family Engagement, participates in an annual review with the Pastor of Family Engagement (and other pastoral staff as necessary), and completes developmental requirements as needed. Compensation for this position is full-time/salaried (commensurate with education and experience) with benefits, and hours and salary to be reviewed after 90 days. They traveled to hear him teach and through that ministry, they themselves experienced significant emotional and physical healing. They first gathered in homes that eventually led to their first church located in the heart of the city. Currently, the church meets in a business area of the city of Lancaster near Route 30.
