Planet Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Henderson, Kentucky.

Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Potential float to Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & Deaconess Gateway (IN – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every third weekend. Every other holiday.
Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Three years as RN - including one solid year of stepdown/PCU experience, 1 travel assignment.
Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Patient Population: Stepdown/PCU patient population, including drips (insulin, heparin, cardiac, etc.). Sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, cirrhosis, dementia. Surgical – urology, abdominal, ortho.
