Position Summary
The endoscope reprocessing technician is responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of all lab equipment, including the reprocessing of all endoscopes. The reprocessing technician will assist with monitoring quality related to scope reprocessing and maintain high level disinfection equipment and storage of endoscopes. The endoscope reprocessing technician will also be a resource on the unit for disinfection processes.

Minimum Requirements
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- High School or equivalent is required- or higher.
- Knowledge of principles and practice of high-level disinfection and infection control
- Knowledge of high-level disinfection equipment handling and maintenance
- Good Communication skills
- AHA BLS CPR certification
- CBSPD Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor
- Endoscopy experience
- Primary Shift: Day
- 32 hours per week
- Tuesday - Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm
- At some point, the candidate of choice will need to work every other Monday
- On Call: No
- Weekends: No
