My client is a seasoned contractor specializing in steel erection, fabrication, concrete, and general construction. For being around over 50 years the company has built a strong reputation for executing complex industrial and commercial projects across the country, with a focus on safety, craftsmanship, and long-term client relationships.
Job Description
  • Ensure adherence to safety programs and site procedures to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist in tracking project costs, managing budgets, and supporting change order processes.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and inspectors to confirm compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide operational and documentation support to the Project Manager for daily project activities.
  • Monitor execution of the erection plan and coordinate any modifications with the project manager.
  • Promptly report any material shortages, discrepancies, or delivery issues.
  • Identify project survey control points and ensure accurate elevation and alignment during installation.
  • Learn and implement essential field procedures including surveying, bolting, welding, and related tasks.
  • Confirm that all equipment and materials meet project specifications and are properly utilized on site.
  • Inspect fabricator-installed materials to verify correct placement, sizing, and alignment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.

The Successful Applicant
  • 1-3 years of experience in the construction space
  • Experience in steel, concrete, or pre cast fabrication
  • Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
  • Understanding of cranes
  • Bluebeam,AUTOCAD,Vista experience is a plus
  • High attention to detail
  • Problem solver
  • Post Tension Concrete is a plus
