Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide menu details while using suggestive selling techniques.
- Prep and serve food and beverage items in correct proportions following all safety, sanitation and storage guidelines.
- Participate in set-up, opening & closing procedures, including inventory and reporting.
- Clean and consistently maintain the quality appearance of the work area and equipment.
- Properly record and account for all transactions via POS and cash and credit handling.
- Maintain accurate cash count in bank and balance at end of each shift.
- Must enjoy working with people and preparing food.
- Dual role in food service and cash handling experience helpful.
- Ability to provide excellent guest service with friendly and effective communication skills.
- Must read prep sheets to accurately prepare food while using safe handling requirements.
- Should have good basic math skills to accurately account for cash and inventory.
- Will work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Will stand for the entire length of shift with frequent walking, bending, stooping, carrying, grasping and reaching.
- Manual and physical dexterity to grasp items, operate cash register and safely use kitchen equipment.
- Exposure to kitchen environment temperatures with possible cuts, scrapes, burns, scalds, etc.
- Will use chemicals to clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
