About the Role
We’re looking for a Commissioning Engineer to support the successful delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public health services across vital infrastructure projects. You'll be involved from tender stage through to final handover, ensuring systems are commissioned effectively, safely, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support design reviews with a focus on commissionability and handover planning.
nAssist in preparing commissioning strategies, procedures, and schedules.
nCollaborate with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients throughout the commissioning lifecycle.
nReview technical documentation and method statements.
nCoordinate and attend site commissioning visits and meetings.
nSupport client witnessing, statutory compliance, and documentation collation for O&M manuals.
nAssist in resolving commissioning or snagging issues during the defects liability period.
What We’re Looking For
Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical commissioning.
nExcellent communication and organisational skills.
nProficient with MS Office and project reporting tools.
nWillingness to travel to various sites across the Thames Valley.
nA proactive, can-do attitude with a strong team ethic.
nRelevant qualifications (desirable).
nSMSTS and a valid CSCS card (required).
