A mid-size client firm, a leader in its industry, is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to work in factory automation, robotics, and device control. You will work on developing new software in addition to legacy work.

What will you be doing?

    n
  • Senior-level responsibilities for the design and development of software
    • n
  • Build new software for controlling devices
    • n
  • Software development for low-level device drivers to application-level
    • n
  • The used depends on the project: C, C++, and C#
    • n
  • New development, customized, and iterative
    • n
  • Potential work on Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs
    • n
  • Collaborate with various corporate technical teams, including cross-functional
    • n
  • Works directly with the customer to troubleshoot and solve critical problems within the automation system
    • n
  • Ensure timely response and resolution to customer issues
    • n

What are the minimum qualifications?

n
    n
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Mechanical, Mathematics, etc.
    • n
  • Senior-level software development skills
    • n
  • Experience with a combination of , C, C++, and C#, preferably two of the three
    • n
  • Experience programming software to control devices
    • n
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
    • n

What will make your rsum stand out?

  • Experience in factory automation or control systems
    • n
  • PLC experience, like Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs experience
    • n
  • Device driver experience
    • n
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, act and deliver results, and exercise a high level of judgment

Location: 100% on-site. Headquarters in Dallas, TX.

Salary: 120k - 150k, Paid Overtime (10k - 20k), 401k matching is 6%. Fullypaid medicalinsurance for employees and dependents.
