Join our team as a Bilingual Customer Support Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, where you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Your expertise in our products will allow you to recommend the best solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be responsible for resolving customer issues promptly and maintaining our high-quality standards.

As part of your role, you will be based at our Store #5078, located at 3924 Portsmouth Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23321, and may be required to assist at nearby locations within a 25-mile radius.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service through effective sales techniques.
  • Interacting with customers both in person and over the phone to assess their needs and present suitable products.
  • Building trusting relationships with our customers.
  • Accurately processing sales transactions as per company policies.
  • Meeting sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintaining organized sales records and product formulas.
  • Preparing products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tinting and mixing products to meet specific customer requests.
  • Restocking shelves and arranging displays.
  • Keeping store equipment in good condition.
  • Assisting with deliveries when necessary.
  • Ensuring aisles are always stocked and visually appealing.
  • Staying informed about new products and available options.
  • Following inventory control practices.
  • Proposing strategies to boost sales.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in both English and Spanish.
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs regularly and 70lbs occasionally, with or without accommodation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • If already with Sherwin-Williams, must have a performance rating of at least 3 on the latest appraisal and completed required HR eLearning courses.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
  • Previous experience in selling paint and related products.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
