Job Overview:

BNV Electric is hiring a skilled Part-Time Journeyperson Electrician with experience in residential and solar work. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician looking for flexible hours with the potential to grow into a full-time leadership position.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems

Troubleshoot solar systems (inverters, optimizers, panels, etc.)
n
n
Perform electrical panel upgrades and service work
n
n
Install EV chargers, battery systems, and smart panels
n
n
Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
n
n
Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively
n
n
Ensure all work complies with NEC and local electrical codes
n
n
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
n

Requirements:

n
Must have a valid California Journeyperson Electrician Card
n
n
Minimum 1-3 years of residential or solar experience
n
n
Proficient with service work, diagnostics, and upgrades
n
n
Familiarity with high and low voltage systems
n
n
Strong understanding of NEC compliance and safety standards
n
n
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
n
n
Comfortable working independently or on a small team
n
n
Reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented
n

Job Type:

Part-Time (15–30 hours/week to start)
Growth path to full-time available based on performance and job volume

Compensation:

$32.00-$35.00/hour (based on experience and licenses)

Commission pay as well (Discussed in interview)

Paid weekly
