The Senior Reservoir Engineer is pivotal in optimizing field development planning activities and recovery strategies for a multibillion-dollar development project. nEssential Duties & Responsibilities

- Work with a multidisciplinary team to generate and execute a Piceance Basin development plan to optimize reservoir performance and recovery strategies. n
- Analyze geological, geophysical, and reservoir data to develop effective recovery strategies. n
- Performing reservoir characterization activities involving production analysis, material balance, rate-transient analysis, decline curve analysis, and data analytics (MVA and/or Machine Learning) n
- Production forecasting and Type Curve construction. n
- Work diligently with the team to optimize well spacing, perforated intervals, and completion designs. n
- Provide engineering support for drilling, completions, and production operations. n
- Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies and methods to improve recovery and efficiency. n
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. n
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices. n
Qualifications
nSpecialized Knowledge

- Track record of adding value through integration of classical reservoir engineering with geology, geophysics and petrophysical interpretations and machine learning involving “big data” n
- Highly proficient in Spotfire, Whitson RTA, Python, Excel, ComboCurve/ARIES n

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills n
- Effective communicator and team player. n
Education
n- n
- A bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or a related engineering discipline is required for this position. n
Experience

- 8-10 years’ experience in reservoir engineering n
