Senior Field Service Engineer

nWe are seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our cleint's team supporting power distribution system equipment. This role involves a significant amount of travel, providing hands on field service and technical expertise across a variety of customer sites.
nWhat You'll Do:
n- n
- Installation, testing, commissioning, and start up of low and medium voltage (480V to 38kV) power distribution equipment n
- Troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and consulting services for clients across industrial and utility environments n
- Develop and implement test plans for complex protection and control relay systems including testing and troubleshooting n
- Work with various manufacturers’ relay systems such as SEL, GE Multilin, and others n
- Prepare switching procedures, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and provide guidance on electrical safety related to scheduled and unscheduled work n
- Participate in both Greenfield and Brownfield installation and commissioning projects n
What You'll Bring:
n- n
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED n
- 10 plus years of experience with power distribution systems including low and medium voltage switchgear, protection, and automation systems n
- Proven experience commissioning and troubleshooting relay systems including but not limited to SEL and GE Multilin n
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to electrical control circuits, breakers, and high voltage equipment testing including data analysis and condition assessment n
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 80 percent for field assignments n
- Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and commitment to working within specified safety guidelines n
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and eligibility to participate in a company vehicle plan n
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsored work authorization n
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline n
- Experience with high voltage circuit breakers and SF6 gas circuit breakers n
- Familiarity with protection and control relays beyond the standard systems n
- Project management experience or use of project management software n
- Industry certifications such as MSHA 46 48 OSHA 30 NFPA 70E n
Possession of TWIC card NETA or NICET certifications
