The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring our aerospace components meet the highest quality standards and comply with customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) , FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) , and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) . This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customers, to drive continuous improvement and maintain product quality.
nKey Responsibilities: n

- Lead and manage PPAP submissions, including preparing all necessary documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirements. n
- Develop, review, and maintain FMEAs , ensuring potential failure modes are identified and mitigated effectively. n
- Implement and oversee APQP activities to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process. n
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions to address quality issues. n
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is built into products and processes from the start. n
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards. n
- Support customer quality requirements, including managing customer complaints, returns, and non-conformance reports. n
- Utilize statistical tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control) and data analysis to monitor and improve processes. n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. n
- Support supplier quality management, including audits, PPAP reviews, and performance monitoring. n
Qualifications: n
- n
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). n
- Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry or a similarly regulated field. n
- Strong knowledge of PPAP , FMEA , and APQP processes. n
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards. n
- Proficient in quality tools such as SPC, MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis), and root cause analysis. n
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint interpretation. n
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems). n
- ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification is a plus (e.g., CQE, CQA). n
