The Role at a glance:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cook Supervisor to join our dynamic corrections team in New Bloomfield, PA. In this role, you will coordinate and supervise our kitchen staff, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and meet our high standards for quality and compliance.

Note: This position requires availability to work every other weekend.

What you'll be doing:

  • Training and guiding your team in food service and sanitation practices to ensure timely meal services.
  • Maintaining high standards for food quality, including appropriate portion sizes, appearance, and temperature.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

  • At least one year of culinary experience in high-volume settings with a focus on scratch cooking.
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A friendly demeanor and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in supervising staff and managing a team effectively.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Food Handler's certification is preferred.

Compensation Range

$18.00 per hour
