nHVAC Maintenance Sales Representative
nJob Description
nAs an HVAC Maintenance Sales Representative at Commercial Mechanical (CMSS), a premier source for comprehensive facility solutions, you will be instrumental in selling HVAC Preventive Maintenance Agreements to grow our Service business. You will market and sell to facility owners and managers across various commercial markets, including hospitality, healthcare, commercial property management, local government, and industrial sectors. This position is based out of our Salt Lake City office.
nCMSS is dedicated to providing superior technical service with a "satisfy the customer" attitude, aiming to develop long-term business partnerships. You'll be contributing to a company that handles a broad range of heating, air conditioning, and industrial refrigeration equipment applications, from multi-million dollar facilities with critical mechanical systems to smaller-scale projects.
nnResponsibilities
nSales / Marketing / Project Management

- Identification of prospects in assigned markets, leveraging CMSS's expertise in Commercial, Industrial & Manufacturing, Mission Critical Facilities, Research & Development, Utilities, Healthcare, Education, Government, Mixed Use / Retail, and Custom Use industries. n
- Promptly follow up on leads and referrals. n
- Establish customer rapport and identify needs, aligning with CMSS's commitment to customer satisfaction. n
- Properly apply company pricing. n
- Deliver effective sales presentations, showcasing CMSS's comprehensive services including HVAC services, operational assessment, planned maintenance, emergency repair, indoor air quality solutions, energy optimization, design-build, and retrofit projects. n
- Interpret mechanical drawings, equipment, and job conditions. n
- Appraise and survey mechanical systems and determine maintenance requirements. n
- Aggressively manage quotes to close sales. n
- Maintain an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goals are consistently met. n
- Redeem annual booking plan in assigned markets. n
- Maintain assigned key accounts at planned booking levels. n
- Assist Service Manager in turnover and execution of new maintenance agreements. n
- Work with customers throughout the process to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term business partnerships. n
Business Development

- Identifies partnership opportunities and capitalizes on "add-on" sales opportunities. n
- Achieves "add-on" revenue goals. n
- Assists in the identification of strategic accounts. n
- Grows long-term relationships with clients and capitalizes on equity and partnership opportunities. n

Qualifications The following qualifications along with individuals' previous work experience will be considered by the company when evaluating applicants:

- Professional image. n
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage in professional networking. n
- 3 years of experience with business-to-business sales desired but not required. n
- Experience in facilities, HVAC, or energy/sustainability services would be desired but not required. n
- Valid Driver’s License and no DUI convictions in the past three (3) years. n
- Able to pass a background check. n

- Climb ladders to access and survey equipment. n
- Carry a tool bag as necessary to access and survey equipment. n
