Position Overview: As a Master Lead Plumber, you will manage light plumbing tasks for laundry equipment in various settings, including apartments, residential homes, and college facilities. This hands-on leadership role involves working closely with junior technicians, overseeing appliance installations, and ensuring top-quality workmanship.
In this exciting position, you will:
- Schedule and coordinate plumbing inspections in line with project timelines and local regulations.
- Obtain permits for installations and ensure strict compliance with all applicable codes.
- Perform light plumbing tasks, including installing and connecting washers and dryers to gas and water lines while testing for leaks.
- Install dryer venting systems suitable for indoor setups.
- Deliver, set up, and install laundry equipment at customer sites.
- Assemble and test laundry machines before and after installation to guarantee full functionality.
- Troubleshoot and configure equipment add-ons like payment systems (e.g., ESD, Heartland) and monitoring systems (e.g., LaundryView).
- Maintain comprehensive job logs, inspection records, and scheduling notes for compliance.
- Plan daily job routes and prioritize tasks to maximize productivity and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to DOT and company standards while maintaining clean driving and equipment records.
- Communicate professionally with clients and property representatives about procedures and operations.
- Assist with warehouse operations, managing inventory, and loading/unloading as needed.
- Work independently while being responsive to team and customer needs.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old for in-home installations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening and DOT physical.
- 5+ years of appliance installation experience, especially in light commercial applications.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently in the field.
- Familiarity with water, gas, and venting systems as they relate to laundry equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with digital tools for routing and record keeping (smartphone/tablet experience required).
- Comfortable working in indoor spaces such as utility rooms with minimal excavation.
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing between 35-100 lbs.
- Experience with POS and monitoring system installations (e.g., Heartland, LaundryView).
- Knowledge of natural gas and propane systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with large appliances.
- Prior experience in managing small teams or mentoring technicians.
- Must provide personal hand tools; specialized tools will be provided by CSC.
- Ability to drive long distances and work in a variety of indoor environments.
